All life is work, all work is art, and there is no artist.
These days I'm the lead SAP Basis system administrator for Bernalillo County, helping the county carry its SAP landscape from ECC to S/4HANA. Before that came twenty-five years of building and running software — websites for the Chicago Tribune and the University of Chicago, a decade as founder and CTO of Habitat Life, and fifteen years as lead developer and systems administrator at Cordant Health Solutions, where I ran their drug-testing management platform end to end. I still run my own infrastructure, this site included. The rest of the record is here too: the working years as a cook, bookseller, bus driver, and tarot reader, and a long study of yoga, Vedanta, and philosophy that shapes how I work.
